‘Quiet Horizon X’ is an original acrylic painting on canvas and the final work in Bodil Greiner’s Quiet Horizon series.
The painting is about recognising the colours we carry within us — even when life feels a little grey. The quiet rainbow in the sky becomes a reminder that you are unique, that your light is still there, and that sometimes you simply need to stop and notice it.
Quiet Horizon X invites you to pause, breathe and remember that there is always more light beyond the clouds.
The painting is intended to give something back to the room: calm, and meaning without demanding attention.
Quiet Horizon X is an original one-of-a-kind artwork, signed by Bodil Greiner. A certificate of authenticity is included with the artwork.
You are always welcome to contact me for further questions. The artwork can be viewed in person by appointment.
Framing
For collectors who wish to add an elegant finishing toch, ‘Quiet Horizon X’ can be professionally framed, for example in an oak frame.
I am happy to discuss framing options to ensure the artwork complements your home and personal style.
Description
‘Quiet Horizon X – The Rainbow Within’
Sometimes you need to stop and look up.
Even when the weather around you feels a little grey, the sun is still shining somewhere beyond the clouds. And sometimes, you simply need to pause long enough to notice the colours that are already there.
Quiet Horizon X grew from that feeling.
The rainbow appearing quietly in the sky is a reminder of the colours we each carry within us — the things that make us unique, the qualities that cannot be copied, and the parts of ourselves we sometimes forget to see.
It is also about standing by who you are.
Sometimes you need to put on your crown.
Not because you are above anyone else, but because you are allowed to recognise your own worth and stand firmly in what makes you, you.
The horizon becomes more than a landscape here. It becomes a quiet place to pause and look beyond what is immediately in front of you.
Perhaps you see the rainbow in yourself. Perhaps it reminds you of someone who carries their own colours quietly. Or perhaps it simply gives you a moment to breathe and notice something beautiful.
Soft layers of acrylic paint create a luminous meeting between sky, sea, light and sand. The gentle blues and warm sandy tones create calm and openness, while the subtle rainbow brings a small, unexpected touch of colour and meaning.
There is movement in the clouds and sea, but there is also stillness.
And perhaps this is what the painting gives back when it becomes part of your space.
It brings calm without feeling empty.
Colour without becoming overwhelming.
Meaning without demanding attention.
In your home, Quiet Horizon X can become a quiet visual anchor — something you notice when you walk past it, sit opposite it or simply need a moment to breathe. Its soft colours can bring light and openness to a room, while the rainbow adds a little warmth and personality.
In a clinic, therapy room or wellness space, it can contribute to an atmosphere of calm, hope and warmth. In an office, meeting room or other professional setting, it can soften the surroundings and bring a more human and welcoming quality to the space.
It is a painting that leaves room for you.
Perhaps it reminds you that even when you are moving through a little rain, the light has not disappeared.
Perhaps it reminds you to notice the rainbow in someone else.
Or perhaps it reminds you to recognise the one you carry yourself.
Whatever you bring to it, the intention is the same:
to create a space where you can pause, breathe, recognise your own colours and simply enjoy something beautiful.
